Imane Highcantle's newspaper, The Jorvik Gazette, has competition! Aspen S., a born and bred Jorvikgeian living at Starshine Ranch, has started a new paper called The Jorvik Scoop that will be all about the everyday happenings of Jorvik!
First up, an interview with the lovely Imane Highcantle about her opinion on The Jorvik Scoop!!
Aspen S: How do you feel about sharing the stage with another Jorvik newspaper?
Imane Highcantle: Honestly, I'm excited! Aspen is a wonderful journalist and worked for me for many years before branching out to start a newspaper of her own - and I couldn't be prouder! Although I am not denying it's nice not to have any competition, I know that it will be good for me so I can raise my standards higher!
Aspen S: You said you plan on raising your standards - how do you plan to do that?
Imane Highcantle: Excellent question! First off, I plan to get better at digging for stories and getting people to open up - something you usually did for me, but that I'll now have to learn to do myself. I really want to focus on finding those "gold mine stories"! Also, the Jorvik Gazette office needs a new coat of paint!
Aspen S: You expressed earlier that you were excited about The Jorvik Scoop, why?
Imane Highcantle: Many reasons! Firstly, like I said before I really am ready to start pushing my standards, and also of course I am so excited for you as this as been a dream of yours for a long time! Third, I am really excited to read it and learn about all of the things happening around Jorvik that I missed.. or maybe that I didn't miss but that you have a different take on.
